Coronavirus Outbreak: New Symptom of COVID-19 Identified By CDC
The novel Coronavirus, first detected in a lab in Wuhan, China last year, eventually engulfed the entire world and sparked a pandemic. Scientific research and tests are ongoing to identify the characteristics of the disease. The novel Coronavirus is one that has never been identified in humans before. Also, none of the countries, including superpowers like the USA and China, succeed in developing vaccines for COVID-19. The disease is highly infected could be one of the reasons for so scientists need to be more careful while studying the virus.
Coronavirus pandemic is getting worse day by day and the new thing that comes out that disease added new symptoms to the list of known ones. The Centers for Disease and Prevention (CDC), which tracks disease globally and directly involved in advanced laboratory work, revealed the new symptoms of COVID-19 on its website.
COVID-19 positive have detected a wide range of symptoms, from mild to severe illness. The symptoms of the virus may appear in 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. But stress flared up since a few new signs and symptoms of coronavirus have been detected. Everyone including Individual, Government, Medical staff, Para-Medical Staff, Cleaning staff, and Cops are putting their best possible effort to mitigate the effect of this coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, new symptoms of COVID-19 have become a matter of concern.
The new symptoms of Coronavirus are completely different. It includes cold, muscle pain, repeated shivering, headache, and loss of taste or smell. These symptoms are not among the list that was mentioned on the World Health Organization’s FAQ Webpage.
The earlier symptoms of Coronavirus, also mentioned on the webpage of the WHO and CDC website as well, were severe fever, cough, shortness of breath, and difficulty in breathing.
The CDC also said that this is not an all-inclusive list, as the symptoms of the COVID-19 are changing and in some cases there were no symptoms noticed, and people must visit doctors in case of detecting similar COVID-19 symptoms.
The World Health Organization said some of the people were infected even with mild symptoms. Also, around 80% of the infected people recover from the disease without hospitalization. Around 1 out of 5 infected people are getting seriously ill.
Notably, older people, especially diagnosed severe medical problems like hypertension, heart and lung problems, diabetes, or cancer are at higher risk of developing the virus and serious illness from it, WHO says.
Above all, everyone needs to be responsible, careful, and alert to fight against the COVID-19. The government of the different countries is performing their duties round the clock in an effort to reduce the effect of the virus. Besides this, this is not possible without an individual’s help and Social Distancing.
