The Union ministry of health and family welfare issued post COVID-19 management protocol on Sunday (September 13). The report, published by the Health Ministry, provides an approach to managing post-COVID-19 care for those who have recovered from the pandemic.
The guidelines carry a holistic approach for the care and well-being of all COVID-19 patients in order to stay healthy and decrease the risk of developing or infected by the virus again.
Today, it has been over six months fighting with this pandemic but no effective medicine and any therapy have come out successfully to beat this disease from any part of the world. The only way to recover this is a strong immune system and safety precautions.
The nation is contributing restlessly including ordinary people, doctors, Government, and other staff to make the world pandemic free. It is important to follow the precautions and safety guidelines to halt this infectious disease. According to the Union Ministry of Health And Family Welfare, it is equally important to take care of and follow the guidelines once recovered from the Coronavirus.
The Ministry has issued guidelines including some important things to be considered by a recovered COVID-19 patient. The document mainly focused and recommended to work upon to boost immunity by using AYUSH medicines such as Chawanprakash, Ayush Kawath, Turmeric Milk, Giloy Powder, Samshamani Vati, Ashwagandha, Amla Fruit, and Mulethi Powder.
And the guidelines include-
- The recovered person should continue with appropriate Coronavirus behavior that includes covering your face with a mask, maintain hygiene, and practice social distancing.
- Drink an adequate amount of water that helps detoxify your blood and improve blood circulation.
- Increase the amount of immunity booster ingredients such as Chawanprakasha and other herbal medicins of AYUSH.
- As per the Health Ministry, mild/moderate exercise can be done such as Yogasan, Pranayam, and Meditation. Recovered patients also consider breathing exercises as prescribed by their treating physicians.
- Additionally, a balanced nutritious diet, especially easy to digest and freshly cooked food, should be taken.
- The recovered person needs an adequate amount of sleep and rest.
- As per the document of the health ministry, the recovered person should avoid smoking and consumption of alcohol.
- The guidelines also include that a recovered patient need to take regular medicine as advised for COVID-19.
- The Ministry also said- a recovered person should self-monitoring at home such as temperature, blood pressure blood sugar, pulse oximetry, etc.
These guidelines are showing that a recovered person needs more precautions and care than a person who is preventing infection. When nothing works, Ayurvedic remedies are still an option to cure and prevent any chronic or infectious disease to an extent.
In the Crononavirus pandemic, the importance of Ayurveda has been recognized. The natural ingredients, herbs, Yoga, and Ayurvedic medicines have shown their power to cure this infectious disease as at this time, these are the sole way to fight with Coronavirus.
Follow the guidelines and take every appropriate precaution to stop the spread of the Coronavirus outbreak.
