NHA And ABDM Are All Set To Build A Digital Health Ecosystem
With more doctors, healthcare professionals, nurses and paramedics joining ABDM (Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission), the health sector records a new point of creation. This leads to the digitalisation of the health ecosystem and provides a new ray of possibility in India.
The NHA (National Health Authority) and ABDM (Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission) are working together to build a better and more comprehensive digital health ecosystem in India. Recent updates suggest that ABDM has enrolled thousands of healthcare professionals under the HPR (Healthcare Professional Registry). With more individuals from the healthcare industry joining the digitalised health ecosystem, it would be easier to build and develop health care in the coming years.

The idea behind the comprehensive digital health ecosystem is to readily provide health facilities to the patients and keep their digital health-based records. Every state is required to participate and engross in taking the mission forward actively. NHA would recognise the top performing states and UTs and count them in the digitalised health ecosystem.
ABDM would consider health facilities from both the private and public sectors. The process of recognising the top performing integrators, ABDM and NHA, would give a 50 days period starting from August 1, 2022, to Sep 19 2022. Once they reach the demand or get recognised, these health care facilities could actively contribute to the scheme.
