1 Million Residents Of Wuhan Province Facing Lockdown Again
More than two years have passed since the world was taken aback by the mysterious virus infection and initial lockdown imposed in China. From public shutdown to local restrictions, people worldwide have experienced a lot about covid 19 since 2020. However, in the past few months, only a handful of cases were seen all over the world, and China has a record of not reporting any cases in many parts of the country.
Lately, the echo of the covid 19 pandemic has started, and it dragged down the districts in the outskirts of Wuhan province, China. While the country said not to impose more restrictions due to the curb in covid 19 cases, recent scenarios showcased otherwise. Around one million residents staying on the outskirts of Wuhan are under lockdown.
While other parts of the world were just curtailing the limitation and providing better opportunities to get back into the business, China yet again imposed the lockdown in Shenzhen province. Being located on the outskirts of Wuhan, the natives are under strict lockdown, where all the public activities are completely closed, and residents are told to get out of the house only when extremely necessary.
China is still adhering to its ‘covid Zero Strategy’ of lockdowns. This includes restrictions on getting out, doing any movement, and starting mass testing in public.
